The #1 seeded Bellevue Wolverines started off the KingCo playoffs in a very interesting matchup, beating the #4 seeded Lake Washington Kangaroos 60-56 in a narrow semifinal victory. Senior guard Brady Kageyama had one of his best performances in this game by making many crucial shots including two free throws to seal the game at the end. Sophomore guard Bryce Smith also had many key moments including a game tying layup fresh off his injury. Seniors Alex Yu and Andrew Gooding also played well on both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball. The Wolverines now head to the KingCo championship game on Wednesday against the #2 seeded Liberty Patriots.
