The Wolverines put up a big statement on Tuesday night by beating the Hazen Highlanders 74-23. Junior Kenyan Jackman-Thomas had a big game against his former team that included many highlight plays such as an amazing alley-oop dunk lobbed up by senior Orhun Dakad, who also had a few good 3’s. In his first game, junior Hogan Hansen was a force in the interior, making tough shots and playing a key role in the rebounding game. Seniors Brady Kageyama, Luke Bell, and Andrew Gooding also played well in the absence of last year’s first team all-KingCo star Alex Yu, as they created many scoring opportunities for everyone. Bellevue looks to keep this up heading into their Thursday night matchup against Interlake before they head on to the Hardwood Classic this weekend.
